Las Vegas Wake Up!

I'd like to remember you all that this blog is not only about fashion, it's also about art and music that sometimes are closely connected with mode.
Today I'm going to introduce you to an Italian pop rock boyband: Las Vegas Wake Up. I like them because although their Italian origins, the songs are - as the band's name clearly suggests - characterized by an international rock music style. My long-time favorite has been
When It All Ends, a song received ecceptionally well by their public. I reccomend you also more songs as the dynamic A Song (Alternative Ending)
, or the romantic Rosie's. But now that I know all their songs I have to say that the best one is Roleplay!

You can find Las Vegas Wake Up on facebook
reverbnation, twitter, myspace and youtube. They're everywhere except in your ipod playlist! Download for free LVWU's songs by clicking here!

Who is Carlos Miele?

senza titolo

Carlos Miele is a Brazilian stylist, who presented presented his last 11 fashion shows in New York.
I decided to post his creations because I wanted to share with you his exuberant and feminine designs. Miele’s dresses has already been worn by several celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Sarah Jessica Parker, Alicia Keys, Sandra Bullock and a lot more.

Click here to see all Miele's fashion show at the New York fashion week

When his dresses come down the runway they swing. They swish. They almost sashay on their own. Step inside one of their upward-arching hemlines and you're reminded that legs were never meant for merely walking, because we -or at least all women- were born to dance. If it were a fair world, Carlos Miele's dresses would come with dancing lessons, since they're so hypnotic when caught in play.

15 th june: Swarovski night

Acrobats, dancers abounding in feathers, rope-walkers, world-famous singers as Mika, a lot of champagne and a rain of crystals. This is what you could find in the fantastic party Swarovski held in Palazzo Reale (Milan) to introduce the new collection. There were more than 700 guests and most were celebrities, models, and stylists. The dress code of the event was "easy chic with a crystal touch".

Naomi Campbell – wich was just one of the special guests of the event - introduced some dancers coming from all over the world and the singers Skin and..

Sophie Ellis Bextor!

So what are you waiting for? if you are looking for some ideas for your own party’s dress code why don't you choose this one? it's smart and it immediatly brings a touch of Hollywood to your special night.

You just need:
-  A cocktail dress (better if it's black)
-  A crystal jewel (it doesn’t matter if it's made of plastic, in the dark of the night no one will notice the difference)
-  And a party, of course

have a nice day!
